Terms & Conditions
Haskell® uses secure servers with SquareSpace® and Stripe® payment technology. We currently accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa. Haskell® accepts all major credit cards and Stripe® for orders in the contiguous 48 States. Additionally Haskell® does accept checks, money orders and wire transfers. Payments made by check, money order or wire transfers must be made in full at the time of purchase. Orders will be processed once the proper funds have cleared. Payments made via Stripe® are charged in full, automatically at the time of purchase. For orders made outside the contiguous 48 States, Haskell® accepts Stripe®, and wire/bank transfers only. We do not currently accept international credit cards. Sales tax is ONLY charged for instate deliveries to California, which is calculated during the check-out process. International orders are subject to taxes, duties, and/or tariffs in the country in which items are delivered. Most custom orders require a 50% deposit to begin and are balance billed when ready for shipment. Please Note: All orders paid via Stripe® are automatically charged in full at the time of purchase. Other transactions, including custom orders made by check, money order or bank / wire transfer, and all overseas orders must commence at the time of purchasing.
Haskell® believes in the highest level of integrity and privacy when it comes to our customers personal information. We will only use yours to process and ship your order, correspond with you regarding that order as necessary, and to keep you informed of developments regarding our products and services. We will never sell your information to any third parties. Any personal information submitted in optional surveys, newsletters or promotions will only be used for internal marketing purposes.
Shipping & Handling
Our shipping and handling charges and policies are structured to compensate our company for the cost of processing your order, handling and packing the product(s) you purchase with proprietary care and integrity, and delivering them to you in a safe and timely manner. We do not profit from, nor do we up-charge, freight costs. Freight costs are calculated on the sum of the order total as well as shipment weight. Unless otherwise specified Haskell® shipments include ground transport and curbside delivery on all items shipping within the contiguous 48 States. Exceptions include customer specified expedited delivery and / or special handling. These exceptions will be noted and additional charges will apply. Please call us for additional shipping options. Any additional services such as "lift gate", "inside delivery", "white glove", "re-delivery / re-consignment" and "warehousing or stocking fees", which are charged by the shipping company(s), will be the customer's responsibility; Haskell® cannot take responsibility for any charges that incur as a result of additionally requested freight services. Please note: International orders are subject to additional shipping charges based on the size and weight of the item and the delivery location. For overseas shipping, please contact us via email or call us at 949.945.8928 for an international rate quote. Almost all of our products can be shipped anywhere in the world. We can ship via ocean freight and air freight, both of which have their advantages.
Haskell® manufactures all of our products to order and maintains very little standing inventory at any one time. This ensures that you will receive hand crafted pieces specifically made for you. Despite this approach we still manage to deliver most orders within a two week timeframe to a majority of domestic destinations unless an expedited shipping method has been established. There are, however, instances where material availability, the commodity nature of our primary component (steel), magnitude of fabrication scheduling, and shipper velocity can effect lead times and result in a product arriving outside of the two week target. We do our absolute best to ensure that the delivery time is adhered to. If you'd like to place an order but would like to verify stock and / or lead times, please feel free to call us at: 949.945.8928.
In the event you are unable to receive your order, depending on the carrier, additional delivery attempts will be made. Redelivery fees may apply. If your order has shipped and you are unable to receive your shipment over an extended period of time, additional storage fees may incur. Alternatively, your shipment may be rerouted back to Haskell®, thus incurring fees for re-shipment of your order.
RETURNS & DAMAGES
We take great pride in the quality of our merchandise. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the item(s) within two weeks of receiving the order for a full refund of the merchandise cost minus a 12% handling / stocking fee. Items must be completely unassembled and unused, in their original condition and packaging, complete with all materials. Customers are responsible for returning the item to its warehouse of origin using the same shipping method used for outbound shipment. All returns must be sent insured for the purchase price. If an item is returned with shipping damage, it is the customer's responsibility to file a claim for the damaged merchandise. Any clearance items may not be returned or exchanged. We do not accept returns on orders outside the contiguous 48 States. After two weeks we will replace or refund your purchase against manufacturing defects ONLY. Please note that we cannot accept returns on final-sale merchandise or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. We regret that we do not give price adjustments on previously purchased items.
Every shipment is insured in the unlikely event that damage occurs during transit to your shipping location. While cases are extremely rare, damages do happen once in a while. We request that you inspect your item(s) upon delivery. If your item(s) shipped via common carrier i.e. FedEx or UPS, simply refuse delivery and contact us immediately for a replacement. For LTL deliveries i.e. ESTES Express, Yellow Freight, Con-Way, Road-Runner, etc., print "Damaged Upon Arrival" where you sign for the items and refuse delivery. After delivery is refused, we will file a claim and send you a replacement product. If the product is accepted and damaged, you will be responsible for filing a claim with the proper carrier. For damages unnoticed at the time of delivery, we require that you send us photographs via email within 48 hours, so that we can address and correct the situation. We will send out a new product or replacement part at our discretion. If your item arrives damaged and you do not wish to receive a replacement part or new item you will be responsible for returning the item and a 12% handling / stocking fee will be assessed.
Because all of our pieces are hand made and go into production within a few days, we can only accept cancellations within 24 hours from when your order was placed. If a stock item has already shipped within this 24 hour period, you will be responsible for paying shipping back to Haskell® and a 12% handling / stocking fee. All cancellation requests must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
